I sit here, an arch-villain of romance,
thinking about you. Gee, I’m sorry
I made you unhappy, but there was nothing
I could do about it because I have to be free.
Perhaps everything would have been different
if you had stayed at the table or asked me
to go out with you to look at the moon,
instead of getting up and leaving me alone with
her.

It’s so nice
to wake up in the morning
all alone
and not have to tell somebody
you love them
when you don’t love them
any more.

Forget love, I want to die in your yellow hair.

How do you find all of your poetry? I use your blog and a few others…but yours is my favorite.

Thank you! So glad you like it. I go on poetry reading spurts, sometimes online, sometimes just from the books I’ve collected throughout the years, some compilations… also, I have a very close friend who was working on her Ph.D in comparative lit, specializing in poetry, so she’s a good source for me. There’s not a blog I can point you to as a source. I come across things so randomly. Which other blogs are you looking at?

Oh, wow! How cool is that, to have a friend with such a diverse collection. well, I follow your blog, and I get a random daily quote from http://1000suns.org/. Poetry from http://lookedlikelaughing.tumblr.com/ or http://theparisreview.tumblr.com/ and then of course websites with poetry from artists I particularly enjoy. But I do appreciate your variety and taste in the arts!
