		<description><![CDATA[Berlin and grey german winters, harking back to his exile perhaps.  He was a very political man and came in for a lot of trouble.  The Brandenburg gate has a statue on it and walking in the winter cold shapes appear and disappear.  Images are what Neruda worked with, he spread them before us to show the world in new light.  That and the memories of a personal nature probably came together to bring this writing out with some hope in the glint of sun coming through.
